Chef Sallie Ann Robinson shares memories of growing up on a small island like Daufuskie and how they lived off the land. Raising their own chickens, hogs and cows. Catching the freshest to eat fish, shrimps and crabs as well as picking oysters and clams. And for a taste from the wild they hunt for deer, rabbits, squirrels and raccoon’s from the woods. She was taught by the famous author Pat Conroy when he taught on the island for one year.
